Will ‘7’ prove lucky for Microsoft after a failure of Vista or is it gonna be a 'Snow' fall in summer from Apple Computers..
The biggest ever software failure and the most expensive one too was from the massive giant of IT world, (no doubt) Microsoft, with their product Windows Vista..
Microsoft never spent so much money to save its pride and that too when it was related to operating system department of theirs. This time even the IT industry started rejecting this product along with the end user. Vista was much talked and gooogled about their bugs and failures rather than its new look. Let’s scrutinize out how ‘7’ can do it for hapless Microsoft:-
-- Blu Ray support
--
-- DirectX 11
-- 64-bit support
infrastructure (VDI)
--Federated Search
--AppLocker
--Location-Aware Printing
--Windows XP Mode
--Miscellaneous Performance improvements
By fixing most of the perceived and real problems in Vista, Microsoft has laid the groundwork for the future of where Windows will go. Windows 7 presents a stable platform that can compete comfortably with OS X, while reassuring the world that Microsoft can still turn out a strong, useful operating system.
Though the marks of vista shock are now clearly visible on the website of MS itself viz. the extended support for their previous product Windows XP and the free download of its newer Operating System, so called, Windows 7, albeit for beta testing only. Say whatever, but opening the Microsoft website and looking at the product key being typed therein by their own engineers, was no less than watching the 8th wonder of this (IT) world..
